Director, Faith Promise Ministries
Kevin Blake graduated from Texas Bible College in 1983. After serving the next three years as assistant pastor in Euless, Texas he and his wife Jeanine, received their missionary appointment to Ghana. As the son of veteran missionaries, Larry & Ruth Blake, Brother Blake was already familiar with many areas of missions work. In Ghana, he taught in the Bible College, served on the national board, directed the International Alpha Bible Correspondence Course Program and ministered in national and international meetings.
After their first term, the Blake’s returned to North America and pastored in Illinois for ten years. However, their love and burden for world missions never left and in January of 1999 the Foreign Missions Board reappointed them. As Area Coordinator for the English speaking nations of the North Caribbean, they have worked in leadership training, church planting, pastoring, and evangelization throughout the region.
In the May 2004 Foreign Missions Board Meeting, the Blakes were appointed to serve as Director of Faith Promise Ministries. Brother & Sister Blake have been strong believers in and active promoters of the principles of the Faith Promise concept for many years. Currently, they remain under Career missionary appointment and continue to rely on their faithful Partners in Missions for support.
